Still Lifes & Landscapes

I group these two genres together because in my mind they're so similar in aesthetic quality. I have a love of good still lifes and landscapes. They have the ability to convey so much emotion, yet are often such simple pictures. My still lifes are often, though not exclusively, influenced by  Spanish Baroque Bodegón, due to the dramatic nature of the painting style. In regards to my landscapes, I tend to take photographs of whatever scene strikes my fancy, since I am still in the process of developing my landscape style.
