Street Photography

Street photography is where I began my photographic career. It's one of the easiest genres to get into, but one of the most difficult to master. This is because the photographer has little, if any, control over what they may see on their outing or how the potential photograph presents itself. There is a magical quality that hangs around street photography, like a halo, to me. Something about the raw nature of it makes me love street photography. I like to utilize film in my street photography practice because if I capture something truly special, I have a physical copy of that moment frozen in time in my catalog, and because nothing looks quite like film.
